What it is
Good analysis starts with good data. We help you plan a survey or study so that every question has a purpose, then design the tools and organise the fieldwork. That includes baseline surveys for projects, as well as interviews and focus groups.
Our approach follows our own guide to designing a baseline survey: start from your indicators, define who you need to hear from, choose a sensible sample, pilot the tool, and check the data as it comes in.
We also think ahead to the analysis and to later rounds. Clear answer options and a tidy codebook make the data quicker to clean, and a well-documented tool lets an endline survey repeat the same questions in the same way.
